Thinking creatively and being flexible were critical skills many organizations gained during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. When Giving Day rolled around, yet students were remote and staff members working from home, Hendrix College found a great way to connect with its target audiences and still build community while apart. BCG Connect worked with Hendrix on its Giving Day appeal that highlighted their fun virtual events, outlined the value and impact of donor gifts, and encouraged donors to be a part of the community. After Giving Day, similar storylines and visuals ran through subsequent communications throughout the spring, including a newsletter project and a fiscal year end appeal.
